If you’re like me, there’s nothing worse than being locked out of an area. The fact that there is nothing of any value in that area is completely irrelovent. I want in there, because I’m not allowed in there.

I’m not sure what drives that, but it’s there and there’s nothing I can do about it. So, if I can’t fight that feeling, I’ll embrace it. But how? Enter Southern Ordnance (southord.com/ca…). If you’re on the outside and want in, this is the place to go.

I was inspired by the recent talk of Stack-On gun cabinet locks being breakable with a bic pen (www.engadget.co…). I thought, if a bic pen can do the job, someone’s got something even more sophisticated. Sure enough, southern ordnance addresses the tubular locks head on.

I can finally get into that crappy lockbox that I put something in when i was 10 years old, then promptly lost the keys.
