Wednesday again, that means (for those that have been following the ol’ Blog) that I am sitting in class.

I still love this class, and am getting a bunch out of it. Suprisingly, I haven’t been too distracted, with the exception of the occasional blog, but have found the info rather concise and poignant.

However, right now there is a librarian talking about the ins and outs of the APA writing style and I couldn’t be less interested. She is reading us the text from the book that we already have, which I found boring during the inital read.

I still am dumbfounded with how much a simple thing like prayer can help get a class started in the right direction. God is truly in the small stuff.

I had lunch today with a few of Mark’s prior employees at his former employ. They were some really nice guys and seem to really enjoy doing what they’re doing. It shows when you experience their product, as well. Check out AuthorHouse (www.authorhouse…) and maybe buy a book or two.

I’ll be wrapping up now, but stay tuned … there are exciting things on the way. Comment if your curious… ;-)

-Chris

Well, I’m sitting in my very first MBA class here at Indiana Wesleyan.

So far, I’m really impressed, the entire first class (3, four hour classes) is based around remembering what school is like. We cover the bases of what IWU expects, and do some basic homework/study excercises to get back in the swing of things.

What I really like thus far, is the fact that every class is started with prayer, followed by a short biblical reference relating to what we will be focusing on today.

It’s so refreshing to, from the outset, remember what’s really important. In the long run, this MBA will prove useless. Why do it? Because I’m here to carry my own load, with God’s help of course. (Gal. 3-6) I also think God wants me to keep on learning, and the business world is really intriguing.

When Christ comes back, this won’t mean much, but the fact that I opened every class with prayer most certainly will.

Anyway, I’ll keep you posted with progess as I go, and let me know if you’re interested in pursuing an MBA at IWU.

-Chris
